4.2.3 Redundant Operation with Maintenance Bypass – Bypass Mode

ThewraparoundMBPisclosed,supplyingthecriticalloadwithbypasspower.TheMISis

opened, isolating the UPMs from the load. The MOBs may be opened to isolate the

individual UPMs.

The critical load is not protected while the system is in Maintenance Bypass mode.

Figure 4-5 shows the path of electrical power through the IAC during redundant operation

when bypass is in maintenance mode.
