10. Route the UPS input cables from the UPS to the IAC BIB output terminals. Refer to
the applicable Powerware 9390 Installation and Operation manual, listed in
paragraph 1.5, for UPS cabinet terminal locations and termination requirements.
See Drawing 164201590-6, starting on page A-34, for IAC wiring access information
and terminal locations.
NOTE
The leads in the following step may be connected to E1, E2, and E3 (rectifier
input terminals) or to E6, E7, and E8 (bypass input terminals) depending on the UPS
model. When connecting the leads to the input terminals, refer to the instructions in the
applicable
Powerware 9390 Installation and Operation manual, listed in paragraph 1.5
for the correct terminals.
11. Connect phase A, B, and C, and, if required, Neutral power wiring to the UPS input
and IAC BIB output terminals. Refer to the applicable Powerware 9390 Installation
and Operation manual, listed in paragraph 1.5, for the correct terminals.
12. If wiring a dual-feed system with an RIB, continue to Step 13; otherwise, proceed
to Step 19.
13. Disconnect the single-feed jumpers between the bypass input terminals and the
rectifier input terminals on the IAC .
14. Change UPS wiring for dual feed. Refer to the applicable Powerware 9390
Installation and Operation manual, listed in paragraph 1.5, for instructions.
15. Route the rectifier input cables to the IAC RIB input terminals. See Drawing
164201590-6, starting on page A-34, for IAC wiring access information and
terminal locations.
16. Connect phase A, B, and C power wiring from the source to the IAC RIB input
terminals.
17. Route the UPS rectifier input cables from the UPS to the IAC RIB output terminals.
Refer to the applicable Powerware 9390 Installation and Operation manual, listed
in paragraph 1.5, for UPS cabinet terminal locations and termination requirements.
See Drawing 164201590-6, starting on page A-34, for IAC wiring access information
and terminal locations.
18. Connect phase A, B, and C, and, if required, Neutral power wiring to the UPS
rectifier input and IAC RIB output terminals.
19. Route the output cables from the critical load to the IAC MIS output terminals.
See Drawing 164201590-6, starting on page A-34, for IAC wiring access information
and terminal locations.
20. Connect phase A, B, and C, and, if required, Neutral power wiring from the IAC
MIS output terminals to the critical load.
21. After wiring the UPS system to the facility power and critical load, be sure to
ground the system according to local and/or national electrical wiring codes.
